Recently I had to write a speech in english (love yu EDXL) anyway I wrote on sizeism and Agaeism in the fashion industry. This  was one of the most fun things that I have done in english ever! I had so much fun researching  it and well writing the speech. It relay got me thinking about prejudges and how we treat others differently but especially in the fashion industry.
It really surprised me how much I didn't notice the size thing. Even just walking down the street how the people look at other  people . The people were looking at them with expressions on their faces like they should be wearing floor length burkas; I can't believe this as I think that they are people too and derisive equal respect to you.  I felt so sad to be a member of the human race at that point, just looking around my own town. But that got me thinking and before long I was thinking about how magazines such as vogue and elle never (or very rarely) show plus sized models, I am not shore how much i have thought about that, but its something that I have always known was a issue and I know that the high street fashion magazines same to have taken public option into account and now show a bigger range of sizes. But inexplicably the high fashion magazines same to have ignored this and continued to use thin one sized only models. I ask is that relay right?

A part of me says that I should not be getting so worked up over all of this as I'm a teenager and don't need anything else to stress over. But I can't stand by and watch something that I care about do this. Although I think that the resin for this is that they take it so seriously and I per sonly don't think that it is the right way to approached. I think that fashion should be fun. But that maybe just a product of my childlike mind. As I most defiantly give that world a rose tinged glow.  Maybe at this point in time I should not be commenting on what I feel is right and wrong, but as I am a teenager I feel as I can be as aragent as I want. So Yeah I believe what I believe and maybe that will change but that is ok as I am still growing up and creating my view of the world.

Sasha

  1. I recently stumbled across your blog and I LOVE it! I love the layout to the content and everything in between! I COMPLETELY agree with what you're saying here, people are always judges according to their size. It's a shame that magazines like Vogue and Elle concentrate on outer beauty more than inner beauty :(
